Nigerian footballer, Asisat Oshoala, has lamented about the rate at which people beg on messaging app, WhatsApp.

She even suggested that the app should be renamed 'Billing' App.

She said this on her Twitter handle on Friday.

Oshoala said that people mostly use the app to beg for money saying in Pidgin English, "You see that WhatsApp ehn, them suppose don rename as Billing app, cus you see that green App ehn, na billing full am. Who curse that app ‘edakun’? “

'Billing' is a slang for begging for money.
